Recently, I started P90X hoping it would be easier on my shoulder than Insanity. The workouts are definitely different! I don’t find P90X quite as intense as Insanity, but have only just started the program. There definitely seem to be more breaks so far! Thankfully, the motions are all very controlled; and I have made it through more than a week with my shoulder still holding up.
That being said, I have been hammering out assisted pull ups like it’s my job, and have not even remotely given up on my original goal to crank one out unassisted- before the Ultra Beast would be even better! So far, I haven’t had any tingling, numbness, or increased shoulder issues, so let’s all keep our fingers crossed that this continues.
Of course, I haven’t only been doing P90X! (I know you’re surprised…) I have also been running! I just started a doing a hilly 8 mile loop on the roads near my house. (not my usual favorite, but the fact that it’s tough sort of makes up for it) Plus, I have still been hitting the trails too. 🙂
It’s so nice to finally feel like I’m making some progress!!!!!
Progress is always good. If you are running hills how come you found the hills in your race so hard ? 😉
